Approach
02

Before you solve the problem, name it correctly.

A business can have several genuine problems at once. We work out which one matters, what sits behind it, and what order of action will change the direction of the whole.

The working belief

The visible problem is not always the deciding one.

Stalled growth, weak structure, unclear positioning, and ineffective marketing can all be real at the same time. Treating each in isolation creates activity without effect. The strategic task is to identify the constraint that governs the rest.

The expression changes with the stage and scale of the organisation. What remains constant is the need for sharper strategy, stronger alignment, and a clearer view of how decisions in one part of the business shape outcomes elsewhere.

Our first job is to correct the picture before deciding the next move. Strategy comes before activity. The plan that follows is smaller, sharper, and sequenced around what will create the greatest effect across the business.

Three movements

See clearly. Focus precisely. Grow with impact.

i.

See clearly

We begin with the business as it is experienced and understood by the people inside it. Through discussion, one-to-one conversations, careful questions, and close audit, we map what we discover and make the whole picture legible.

  • Open discussion with founders and key people
  • Questions, evidence, and assumptions examined together
  • Discovery mapped into a shared view of the whole business
ii.

Focus precisely

A clear view of the whole gives the strategy its shape. We define the steps needed to realise the larger picture, understand how they affect one another, and focus attention where it will have the greatest effect across the business.

  • The priorities that matter most, made explicit
  • Connected actions shaped around the wider direction
  • Work sequenced or advanced together as the business requires
iii.

Grow with impact

Strategy loses its shape when execution is left unexamined. We stay with the business as the work is done, keeping decisions aligned to the agreed direction and using new evidence to refine the plan rather than replace it.

  • Working sessions built around the decisions that matter
  • Execution reviewed against the whole picture
  • Adjustments made when evidence changes the picture
