Privacy Notice

Your data, handled with care.

We collect as little personal data as possible, use it only for the reasons set out here, and protect it in line with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

01

Who we are

Mather & Bohm is a strategic consultancy based in the United Kingdom. For the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, Mather & Bohm is the data controller of the personal data described in this notice.

If you have any questions about this notice or how we handle your data, you can contact us at conversation@matherandbohm.com.

02

What we collect

When you contact us or work with us, we may collect your name, email address, telephone number, company and role, and the content of your enquiry or correspondence. We only collect what we need to respond to you and to deliver our work.

We do not operate accounts on this website, and we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking technologies.

03

How we use it

We use personal data to respond to enquiries, to prepare and deliver consultancy engagements, to manage our client relationships, and to meet our legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.

Our lawful bases for processing are: legitimate interests in running and growing our consultancy; performance of a contract or steps taken before entering one; and compliance with legal obligations. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

04

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as it remains relevant to our relationship with you, and client records for the periods required by law and professional practice. When data is no longer needed, it is deleted securely.

05

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only where necessary: with professional advisers, service providers who support our operations (such as email and hosting providers, under appropriate contracts), and authorities where the law requires it.

Where any provider processes data outside the United Kingdom, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.

06

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent where consent is the basis of processing.

To exercise any of these rights, email conversation@matherandbohm.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you believe your data has been handled unlawfully.
